We met an Experienced sword fighter at Thornton Library!

Sorry about this, “today” was about last month, maybe even the last 2 months. Sorry for the delay!

Today  was a special day. This event was listed as “A medieval knight coming to the library”.

After playing tennis using the phone as a ball, literally almost catching the house on fire (Breaking Breakers), Tennis, almost getting eaten by three corner flies, running through a puddle, and finding a lost dog.

What possible way can we fit a literal knight into this chaos?!

Somehow we did… but at least it wasn’t being stabbed in the back!

Soon enough, I’mma have to list them all on a separate blog post if this keeps going!

Anyways…

Morning…

The day started out normally, Breakfast, feeding the chickens, you know what I mean. Until 1:00PM, where we went out to a nature walk with a few of my peers. A few women, a few men. But luckily I didn’t have a crush on those women. I wish my dear friend Asher was there though, I’d like Lidia to be there too.

The real action…

So, at 5:30PM, we head out to the library.

We entered the meeting room with a few 70-90 year olds sitting in the seats. I would have expected more people, and kids. There was a total of ZERO of the crowd of 5-12 year olds. Yea, 0 kids were in the room, only I was the youngest here. I’m 13, sword training was 14 but my maturity level got me into sword training. That is awesome, but as of today. I’m not currently IN sword training yet, but I am able to go now.  This ‘Knight’ seemed to know what he was doing and even showed how to properly handle a LongSword. He even lectured about the Hospitalers and the Templars. Crazy, right? Whats even crazier is that the Hospitalers were actually trying to help people. Thats how the name “hospitals” was created! This clan was never disbanded, even today, the Hospitalers are still around! And how my dad got me into this sword fighting class was that he asked the knight on if I am able to get onto the program. He said “its fine if he’s a little underaged, the only condition that I have is that he acts normally and you are there to supervise.” So soon enough, I’ll be sword fighting!
